Welcome to the
Blue Ridge Crossroads Economic Development Authority Region
Virginia’s Blue Ridge Crossroads Economic Development Authority (BRCEDA) organization is governed by a board of directors made up of representatives from the Blue Ridge Crossroads region that includes the City of Galax and Carroll and Grayson counties.
The program is designed to create opportunities for entrepreneurs to start new small businesses or grow existing businesses to benefit local economies. The authority is also addressing devastating job losses in the region's furniture and textile industries.
BRCEDA's offices are located in the Crossroads Institute (CI) in Galax VA. The CI also houses an economic development team consisting of the Crossroads Small Business Development Center (CSBDC), Southwest Regional Enterprise Center (SREC) business incubator, the Carroll County Business Development Specialist, and a technology-enhanced educational center.
BRCEDA is recognized as the Commonwealth's first economic development organization to focus on entrepreneurial small business creation.
