Grayson County is
located in beautiful Southwestern Virginia. Grayson County is home to the highest mountains in Virginia and offers world-class hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, camping, fishing, bird watching and horseback riding throughout its rich network of State and Federally managed forests.
Grayson's many historic attractions include the Grayson County Courthouse, which serves as the Arts and Cultural Center of Grayson County. Built in 1908, the courthouse features Flemish gables, octagonal towers, a hip roof, arched windows and spiral staircases. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the courthouse has a museum featuring numerous displays of local artifacts.
Grayon County also hosts the longest stretch of The Crooked Road, Virginia's famous Heritage Music Trail.
